[ARCHIVED] Traffic Alert: Southeast Issaquah-Fall City Road

Starting Monday, April 9, crews working for Zayo Fiber will perform boring work to prepare for fiber installation at the following intersections:

  • Southeast 229th Avenue Southeast and Southeast 66th Street
  • Issaquah-Fall City Road and Issaquah-Pine Lake Road Southeast, extending southward to Southeast Summerhill Lane

Weather permitting, work hours will be between 7 a.m. and 3 p.m. Mondays through Fridays. Work should be completed within one to two days at the Southeast 229th Avenue intersection, and will continue for up to three weeks at the Issaquah-Fall City Road intersection.

During this time, drivers can expect to encounter lane closures and flaggers as they approach intersections. However, drivers will be able to move through intersections at all times. Commuters are advised to plan ahead and expect short delays during work hours.

More work associated with this fiber installation will be scheduled to begin after boring is completed. Drivers can expect to receive notification as work is scheduled.
