[ARCHIVED] Make Your Voice Heard: Share Your Ideas for Parks

Our community leaders are considering a park bond measure to protect open space and wildlife habitat, improve neighborhood parks and make much-needed repairs to Julius Boehm Pool, one of the last publicly-operated pools in our area.

Before a decision is made this summer about a park bond, make your voice heard.

Our Park Bond Citizen Advisory Committee is gathering input from the public in a variety of ways.

In preparation for a possible park bond measure, the City Council authorized the Mayor to create a Citizen Advisory Committee.

  • This group of stakeholders from throughout our community is tasked with:
  • Reviewing the statistically-valid EMC Research community survey
  • Gathering community input on park bond wish list items
  • Making a recommendation to the Park Board by June 24, 2013
The decision about whether to place a park bond measure on the November 2013 general election ballot is up to the City Council.
