[ARCHIVED] Mayor's Month of Concern for the Hungry

Do you want to help hungry people in our community?

On September 4th, the Mayor delivered a proclamation in support of the Mayor's Month of Concern for the Hungry. You can help support this campaign by participating in a Food Drive for the Issaquah Food and Clothing Bank!

This Saturday, September 8th, teams will be collecting food at these five grocery store locations:

  • Fred Meyer Issaquah
  • QFC Issaquah
  • Issaquah Safeway
  • QFC Klahanie
  • QFC Pine Lake

Volunteers will be handing out flyers at the doors to encourage shoppers to purchase a few high priority items to replenish supplies needed at the Issaquah Food & Clothing Bank. Volunteers will be at other grocery stores collecting donations throughout the month. If you are interested in volunteering to help the food drive, please contact Mike Hatada at mike@issaquahfoodbank.org.
