[ARCHIVED] Traffic Alert: Salmon Days Road Closures


 
Prepare for street closures as Salmon Days returns Oct. 6-7, 2018.

Starting 6 a.m. Saturday, Front Street North will close to all traffic from West Sunset Way to Northwest Dogwood Street. The closure will last overnight until 8 p.m. Sunday.   

In addition, the following streets will be closed from 6 a.m.-8 p.m. Oct. 6-7:
  • Front Street South from Sunset Way to Southeast Clark Street
  • Sunset Way from Newport Way Northwest to Second Avenue Southeast 
  • Rainier Boulevard South from East Sunset Way to the Issaquah Community Center 
  • First Avenue Southeast from East Sunset Way to the Issaquah Community Center
  • Southeast Bush Street from Second Avenue Southeast to Front Street South 
  • Southeast Andrews Street from Second Avenue Southeast to Front Street South
  • First Place Northwest from West Sunset Way to Northwest Dogwood Street 
  • First Avenue Northwest from West Sunset Way to Northwest Dogwood Street

The following streets will be closed from 9 a.m.-noon Oct. 6 for the Salmon Days Grande Parade: 
  • 12th Avenue Northwest from Northwest Maple Street to Northwest Gilman Boulevard
  • Northwest Gilman Boulevard will be limited to one lane in each direction from 9 a.m.-noon
  • Businesses along Gilman Boulevard will be open with limited access
  • Dogwood Street will be accessible to parade participants

The following streets will be closed from 8 a.m.-noon Oct. 7 for the Issaquah Run with the Fishes 5K:
  • Front Street North between Northwest Gilman Boulevard to Northwest Dogwood Street, with limited access for the festival shuttle 
  • Second Avenue Northwest
  • Fourth Avenue Northwest
  • Seventh Avenue Northwest 
  • Rainier Boulevard North closed from Northwest Dogwood Street to Northwest Juniper Street
  • Northwest Juniper Street will be limited to one lane 
  • Northwest Gilman Boulevard will be limited to one lane in each direction from 8:30 a.m.-noon
  • Businesses along Gilman Boulevard will be open with limited access
