[ARCHIVED] Prepare for Highlands Day Street Closure

Saddle up and ride off into the sunset to Highlands Day, a Wild West-themed community celebration.

The annual Issaquah Highlands street fair is scheduled for 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday, June 29, 2013, at 2550 N.E. Park Drive, Blakely Hall, The Shops at Village and Village Green Park.

The City of Issaquah has issued a special event permit to the Highlands Council to host the event. Motorists should prepare for the closure of Northeast Park Drive between 25th Avenue Northeast and 30th Avenue Northeast from 7 a.m.-5 p.m. June 29.

The free, family-friendly event will feature carnival games, rides and inflatables, as well as booths hosted by local businesses and nonprofit organizations.

Organizers expect 3,500 to 5,000 cowpokes to attend Highlands Day.
