[ARCHIVED] Keeping Issaquah Green: More Land Preserved

More open space will now be protected in Issaquah.

The City of Issaquah recently purchased two acres of undeveloped land, located just west of Gilman Village along Issaquah Creek, thanks to King County Conservation Future Funds.

The land will be added to Issaquah’s “green necklace” of trails, parks and open space that are connected throughout central Issaquah.

This acquisition supports the City’s larger Issaquah Creek Waterways Program, which focuses on acquiring properties that are located along the creek that can be restored and enhanced for fish and wildlife habitat.
