[ARCHIVED] - All Aboard! Issaquah Valley Trolley Returns -

You're invited to ride the rails through Olde Town as the Issaquah Valley Trolley resumes summer operations May 11, 2019.

The trolley runs 11 a.m.-3 p.m. weekends through Sept. 30, weather permitting.

The route gives passengers a sense of what it was like to come to Issaquah in the days of passenger rail service. Riders travel over Issaquah's last remaining tracks, on the roadbed laid by the Seattle Lake Shore & Eastern Railway in 1887.

Passengers board at the Issaquah Depot Museum, 78 First Ave. N.E. Fare is $5 per person, which includes a trolley ride and admission to the Issaquah History Museums' depot and the Gilman Town Hall Museum. Children 5 and younger, and members of the Issaquah History Museums, ride free.

Issaquah Valley Trolley is an all-volunteer program of the Issaquah History Museums. Help is always needed — and available volunteer positions include motorman, conductor, platform agent and equipment maintainer. Training is provided.
