This
Tuesday, Aug. 6, Mayor Mary Lou Pauly and City Council members will be
attending National Night Out events around Issaquah.
Before
they embark on their tours of neighborhood events, make sure to meet them at City
Hall’s event, 130 Sunset Way S.E., hosted by the Issaquah Police, from
5-5:30 p.m.
City
Hall’s National Night Out continues until 7 p.m. and includes free food, music
and activities.
National Night Out is an annual
community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and
neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer, and better places to
live.
Plan
for next year’s National Night Out! You can invite our officers to a party in
your neighborhood or the Mayor and Council! If you would like to host a party
with police in your neighborhood, contact Community Resource Officer Ryan
Smith via email or
at 425-837-3208.
If
you’d like to invite the Mayor or Council to your neighborhood event next year,
contact Neighborhood Engagement Coordinator, Lesan Gouge via email
or at 425-837-3401.
In celebrating National Night Out, Issaquah is joining forces with thousands of
communities and millions of neighbors in all 50 states.
