In a joint effort between the Historical Society and the City of Issaquah, city work crews are replacing the decking at the Issaquah Depot Museum in Depot Park.

Work is expected to start the week of August 19 and last approximately two weeks. No impacts to the Rainier Trail or the Issaquah Depot Museum are expected. 

To minimize impact to the community, crews will replace the decking in small sections and there will be no staging areas onsite. 

Last year the Historical Society received grant funding to pay for materials for the decking replacement with the City's facilities team providing the labor. 

The Depot museum, initially constructed in 1889 and restored in 1996, is listed on the King County Historical Landmarks list.
