Initially designated on Oct. 2, 2015, the Issaquah Sports Medicine Innovation Partnership Zone (IPZ) has been re-designated as of this month. The State Department of Commerce awarded the re-designation through September of 2023.
The City, along with local nonprofit and business partners, form a committee that meets regularly to advance the field of Sports Medicine in Issaquah. The City held its first Sports Medicine Combine in July to create awareness for the IPZ.
The IPZ will promote and increase the synergy of sports medicine-related businesses to create jobs and spur innovation in our community. The result will be a holistic system of high-quality care for patients of all ages and abilities.
