[ARCHIVED] Donate: Winter Clothing Drive Oct. 26

winter coat drive

Members of the Kiwanis Club of Issaquah will be at Fred Meyers in Issaquah 9:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 26 to collect new and gently used coats and warm winter clothing.

Cash donations will also be accepted.

All donations will go to the Issaquah Food & Clothing Bank. Many of the new items will be offered at the upcoming Holiday Gift Barn, allowing clients to choose gifts for their children. However, adult sizes are also needed. In addition to coats, rain jackets, thermal underwear sets, gloves, wool or non-cotton socks, wool or fleece hats, and fleece or other non-cotton blankets or throws are needed, according to Erin Longchari, program supervisor at Issaquah Food & Clothing Bank.

If you are unable to make a donation during the Oct. 26 drive, please drop-off at the clothing bank at 179 1st Avenue, Issaquah.
