Following public testimony during the City Council’s Nov. 4, 2019 meeting concerning traffic calming measures and safety, here’s a recap of the questions/concerns, along with more information and answers that can be provided expeditiously.

As background, in an effort to reduce speeds and traffic volumes in Olde Town, the City installed permanent traffic calming measures in the fall of 2018. The traffic calming design was based on a pilot study that the City conducted earlier in 2018 and revised using further data and feedback.
