Starting Dec. 2, crews will begin installing a speed table in the 1900 block of Newport Way Northwest as part of planned roadwork improvements for the Riva Development.
Drivers can expect lane shifts as construction crews will be shifting both east and westbound travel lanes to the south side of Newport Way Northwest. As work progresses and reaches halfway, lanes will then be shifted to north.
Expected work time is approximately 20 days, but wet-weather conditions could extend the project timeline.
Variable message boards will be onsite to provide updates as the project progresses.
Further elements, include median construction and frontage improvements, are scheduled to be completed in Spring 2020.
