[ARCHIVED] Investigation: Shots Fired at SW Clark St

At 2:50 p.m. Jan. 21, 2020, Issaquah Police were dispatched to a suspicious call for possible shots fired in the 200 block of Southwest Clark Street. No specifics were provided by any reporting person prior to officer arrival.

Upon arriving within moments to the area, officers searched extensively and were unable to locate any threat. After some time, a witness came forward asking to remain anonymous, and was able to direct the officers to where the silver Audi sedan with tinted windows was last seen and the believed shooting happened. The anonymous witness only viewed what appeared to be a white male’s hand with a handgun out the window of the vehicle. The officers searched the area for both damage and any victims, and neither was found. Six, 9mm casings were located on site.

Many officers evaluated safety in the area, including coordination with a school resource officer (as there are several schools in the area), and found no continued threat to public, schools or children. The threat had left the area, and was not initially directed toward any school.
