The Issaquah School District’s Middle School #6 project is progressing in your community. Below are a series of updates:
Talus and SR-900 Radar and Storm Line Installation
The new radar equipment to replace signal loop detection is now in place. This will be followed by a storm line installation on SR-900 and Talus Drive. No date is set yet to start the storm work but once started it should take approximately six weeks to complete.
Removal of the Talus Median
As part of the Talus Middle School #6 site development and frontage improvements along NW Talus Drive just east of Falcon Way NW, the contractor has removed the center landscaping median. Upcoming work includes re-striping to create the left turn lane into the new school site.
Falcon Way NW Water Main
This work will include projects on Falcon Way that require temporary traffic control. Access via Timber Ridge Way/Falcon Way will be restricted to through traffic. Work is expected to take place the week of June 15 and should take about a day to complete. Weather permitting, final paving will follow.
Saturday Work
The Issaquah School District has received approval to work on Saturdays from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. The work generally will be focused on grading and wall construction.
