Following hillside movement in late 2015, the property owner of Parcel 9 – located in Talus near the intersection of Northwest Talus Drive and Shangri-La Way Northwest – has been stabilizing the property with several measures, including the installation of four walls.
The wall installations are more than halfway done, and are expected for completion by the end of this summer. The tentative timeline includes removing the plastic, and hydroseeding onsite, by Fall 2020.
The City has informed the property owner that before development could move forward, the property must demonstrate it is stable (not moving) for a normal wet season.
