[ARCHIVED] Get a Test of Scandinavia at Lefse Fest

Experience summer at Lefse Fest, a Scandinavian celebration on Veterans’ Memorial Field.

Lefse Fest comes to Issaquah from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. July 27, 2013. Admission to the festival is free. Learn more at the Lefse Fest website.

The lineup includes music, dance performances, craft vendors, cultural demonstrations and activities, and, of course, lefse — a traditional Scandinavian flatbread.

Attendees can sample and vote for their favorite lefse.

Proceeds benefit the Issaquah Valley Senior Center and supporting lodges to help promote future cultural activities and festivals.
Organizers expect more than 700 people to attend Lefse Fest. The City has issued a special event permit for the festival.
