Visit Issaquah recently announced a $100,000 sponsorship program aimed toward local tourism-related nonprofits.
Visit Issaquah, a 501c-6 not-for-profit, was formed as a destination marketing organization in late 2018. A study funded by the City of Issaquah and Greater Issaquah Chamber of Commerce recommended the need for an independent, dedicated marketing organization to promote the Issaquah community’s considerable tourism assets.
The sponsorship program is funded with lodging tax funds. Applications for the sponsorships are due by Sept. 10.
