Join us for a fun and easy way to help Eastside neighbors prepare for the cold winter months ahead by donating food, basic needs and winter gear items at the Mayor's Day of Concern drive from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Oct. 31!
All donations will be given to the Issaquah Food and Clothing Bank. There will be two no-contact, drive-thru donation drop-off locations:
- Our Savior Lutheran Church, 745 Front St. S., Issaquah
- Central Washington University, 120 228th Ave. N.E., Sammamish
Only the following will be accepted:
Urgent Needs
- Pasta sauce (small/medium, canned/plastic jars)
- Cooking oil (small/med bottles)
- Boost or Ensure
- Peanut butter and jelly (small/medium jars)
- Hearty soups (such as Progresso, Chunky or Campbell's - regular and gluten-free)
- Canned pasta
- Diapers (size 5, 6 and pull ups)
- Baby wipes
- Feminine pads (smaller packs preferred)
Winter Gear Needs
- Outerwear coats
- Rain coats/ponchos
- Boots
- Warm hats
- Gloves
- Thick socks
- Thermals
