Drivers should expect delays from 7 a.m.-5 p.m. weekdays starting Dec. 7 as crews alternate one-way traffic on Northwest Sammamish Road near 193rd Place Southeast. The delays will last approximately two weeks. Traffic will alternate between eastbound and westbound travel with flagger support, and no detour will be required.
In the summer of 2020, Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) crews started a project to add auxiliary lanes on I-90 in Issaquah and build sound walls along Northwest Sammamish Road.
While the long-term closure is now over, crews will still need to periodically close a lane with alternating one-way traffic as the project continues this fall/winter, due to the tight confines of the site and proximity to traffic.
