[ARCHIVED] Police Arrest Two Suspects in Fatal Stabbing

Dec. 16, 2020: Issaquah Police arrested two suspects today for fatally stabbing 28-year-old Cherno Ceesay on Dec. 13, 2020.

The two suspects – a 21-year-old woman and 21-year-old man – were arrested for investigation of second-degree murder, and will be booked into King County Jail. They both live in Bellevue.

At approximately 9:30 p.m. Dec. 13, Issaquah police responded to a single vehicle crash in the 8200 block of Renton-Issaquah Road Southeast.

Upon arrival, officers located a deceased male in the driver’s seat, who appeared to have died under suspicious circumstances. The King County Medical Examiner’s Office later determined Ceesay, who lived in Kirkland, died from stab wounds to the head and neck.

No further information is available at this time. As police continue investigating, further details may become available.
