Help children and youth start the school year off right by donating to the Friends of Youth supply drive to benefit students in the Issaquah School District and nearby communities.
Having all the required supplies to begin the school year can make a tremendous difference in a young person’s confidence and success in school. You can make a big difference for kids in the community by donating some of the supplies they need to take with them back to school in September.
Friends of Youth’s Back-to-School Supply Drive will collect items from Aug. 1-16, 2013. Supply kits then will be assembled and delivered to students before school starts.
Drop off donations from 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday through Friday at the Friends of Youth office, 414 Front St. N. Or drop off donations at the Issaquah Library, 10 W. Sunset Way, from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and 1-5 p.m. Sunday. Look for the green drop boxes!
