[ARCHIVED] Newsy Items on City Council's Agenda

The Issaquah City Council’s Feb. 1, 2021 agenda includes:

  • Informational update on 2021 Capital Improvement Plan (CIP) process: Administration is proposing an earlier CIP process this year (April-May) and focus on projects that can be funded out of existing revenues. This should help keep the late Spring-Summer free for other matters, such as operating budget programmatic issues and a usual August recess. The Agenda Bill provides more detail.
  • Presentation of Water Resource Inventory Area (WRIA) 8 Watershed Restoration Enhancement Committee Plan: The WRIA is required to present this draft plan to each impacted jurisdiction and receive approval. Representatives from the Washington State Department of Ecology will be present to make a presentation. The Agenda Bill summarizes impacts of the plan, and staff believes that plan will have minimal impacts on Issaquah.
  • Issaquah Village RV Park Management Agreement Extension: Agreement extends existing agreement for six months to June 30, 2021. The agreement also allows reservations beyond June 30, 2021 for only those 21 spaces in area designated as monthly sites.
