[ARCHIVED] April is Earth Month!

Celebrate the 51st anniversary of Earth Day with the City of Issaquah and our partners! To take better care of our planet, both individual and community-wide actions are needed, big and small. That’s why the City and some local organizations are hosting a variety of events, both face-to-face and virtual, to celebrate Earth Month.

You can go on a “Celebrate the Earth Walk” at Lake Sammamish State Park, sign up for virtual gardening classes, help Keep Issaquah Beautiful with plantings and trash pick-ups, and even register to pick up a free compost bin or rain barrel!  In addition, Recology will be hosting a “What Goes Where?” webinar about how to properly sort your recycling and reduce waste.

There are lots of way to engage in community and celebrate Earth Month. Learn more and take action here.
