[ARCHIVED] Upcoming Night Work: Highlands Drive

The City of Issaquah is currently constructing a booster pump station, which will provide a redundant option for delivering drinking water to the Issaquah Highlands (including more than 5,000 residents) and Swedish Hospital, which serves as a critical care facility.

As part of the project, the City is installing water lines along Highlands Drive Northeast from the pedestrian tunnel (near Interstate 90) to Northeast Discovery Drive. To minimize traffic impacts and the length of the project, this work will take place at night.

Starting Sept. 13 and running for approximately three weeks, work crews will be completing the construction of the water main from 7 p.m.-7 a.m. During working hours, there will be one lane south bound open to traffic and no impacts to north bound traffic.
