6:30 p.m. Oct. 24: Power outages continue in Issaquah following windy weather this weekend. See Puget Sound Energy's outage map.
The utility does not yet have estimated times for restoring power. Prepare for outages to possibly continue overnight.
Power outages are the result of the wind coupled with stressed trees that still have their leaves. In stiff and gusty winds, that means trees can topple more easily and damage power equipment, and branches can take flight and hit power lines.
Puget Sound Energy customers can call 1-888-225-5773 to report power outages and receive service updates, or report outages online.
Please do not call 911 for non-emergency questions, such as power outage duration or reasons for the outage.
To prevent carbon monoxide poisoning, never burn charcoal or use gasoline-powered equipment indoors. It’s also advised to have a carbon monoxide detector in your home.
