[ARCHIVED] Savvy Gardener: Learn to Create Fall and Winter Beauty

Fall is a great time to get new plants in and off to a good start. Then, you can enjoy vibrant fall color and winter beauty with bulbs, perennials, shrubs and trees.

Join the Savvy Gardener Gardening for Fall and Winter Beauty class, and discover how to create a beautiful, healthy, and water-wise lawn and garden.

The free class is scheduled for 6-7:30 p.m. Sept. 5, 2013, at Tibbetts Creek Manor, 750 17th Ave. N.W.

Learn from horticulturist Peggy Campbell about how to select plants that will thrive in your garden. Discover fall gardening techniques to reduce weeds and summer watering.

The class requires pre-registration online or by calling 1-800-838-3006.

Savvy Gardener classes are provided by the City of Issaquah, Cascade Water Alliance and the Saving Water Partnership.
