Learn more about the 2022 Legislative session, as well as Issaquah's successes and challenges at the state level, via this overview and more extensive report.
Issaquah was successful in advancing its legislative priorities, including $640 million for the widening of State Route 18. This would not have been possible without an active and supportive legislative delegation including Senator Mark Mullet, Senator Lisa Wellman, Rep. Lisa Callan, Rep. Bill Ramos, Rep. My-Linh Thai and Rep. Tana Senn.
Looking ahead, the 2023 session will be the beginning of a new biennial legislative cycle. The 105-day session will focus on the development of the 2023-25 biennial budgets.
