Bellevue College is a step closer to opening a satellite campus in our community.
The college recently submitted a land-use permit application for its planned campus in Issaquah Highlands.
The planned campus is west of Central Park and south of Grand Ridge Elementary School on 20 acres that Bellevue College purchased three years ago.
The permit application includes more than 400,000 square feet of building area. The college is planning to develop the campus in phases, and hopes to establish a presence within the next three to five years.
The project is expected to reach the City’s Urban Village Development Commission for review in November.
