Rates for garbage and recycling service will increase starting Jan. 1, 2013. The increase is a direct pass-through from King County, which increased its garbage disposal fees by 10.25 percent.
This rate increase will affect both CleanScapes and Allied Waste / Republic customers
Customers may be able to reduce the costs of their garbage disposal by recycling more, or reducing waste and moving to a smaller collection container. Commercial customers may also be able to change the frequency of their collection.
