Share your input as the Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) seeks public comment and holds open houses to discuss potential tolling on Interstate 90.
From Oct. 7-Nov. 6, 2013, WSDOT will hold a public scoping comment period concerning potential tolling and alternatives on I-90. Visit the project website for more information, and to learn how to have your comment included in the official record.
WSDOT will hold the first public open house from 4-7 p.m. Oct. 10, 2013, in the cafeteria at Bellevue College, 3000 Landerholm Circle Southeast.
The public is invited to learn about the updated project purpose and need, and to review the full range of alternatives under consideration for the draft environmental impact statement (EIS) document.
Other public open houses will be held: • 4:30-8:30 p.m. Oct. 21, 2013, in the commons of Mercer Island High School, 9100 S.E. 42nd St.
• 4-7 p.m. Oct. 23, 2013, at the Northwest African American Museum, 2300 S. Massachusetts St., Seattle
Each meeting will feature display boards, project staff on hand to answer questions, and a written and verbal comment station. A court reporter will capture all verbal comments as part of the official record. There will not be a presentation or formal Q&A session.
Visit the project website for more meeting information, and to access materials and the advanced online sign-up for verbal comment, which is made available three business days before the respective meeting.
