The Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) expects work to be complete on the new Interstate 90 West Lake Sammamish Parkway intersection modification by mid-October.
The project adds a teardrop-shaped roundabout at the intersection of the westbound I-90 on- and off-ramps with Lakemont Boulevard Southeast, just south of West Lake Sammamish Parkway Southeast.
The new roundabout at will help reduce the risk of serious collisions by controlling the flow of traffic near the ramps.
The finishing work, including the planting in the center of the roundabout, will wrap up this month.
