Celebrate the season sustainably at the Green Halloween Festival, a community event that makes the holiday healthier for children and more sustainable for our planet.
The 13th annual Green Halloween Festival will run from noon-4 p.m. Oct. 26, 2013, at Grand Ridge Plaza in Issaquah Highlands. The community celebration will feature carnival rides and games, pony rides, inflatables, food, music and giveaways.
Don’t miss the opening flash mob performance of Thrill the World at noon. Dancers will perform again at 4 p.m. Zombies of all ages are busy rehearsing the dance to Michael Jackson’s “Thriller” dance to open and close the festival.
Dancers are invited to hop on the trolley for a free ride to Front Street North to participate in the Downtown Issaquah Association’s fourth annual Downtown Zombie Walk. The undead participants will then be shuttled back to Grand Ridge Plaza after the walk and “Thriller” dance at the corner of Sunset Way and Front Street.
