[ARCHIVED] Park Pointe: Help Build a New Trail System

Help build a new trail system in Issaquah.

We’re working with Washington Trails Association to develop a trails system on Park Pointe — 102 acres on the edge of Tiger Mountain adjacent to Issaquah High School.

Washington Trails Association is hosting work parties at Park Pointe throughout October and November. To learn more and sign up, visit wta.org/volunteer.

This is a great opportunity to get your hands dirty and help out your community right in your own backyard. No experience is necessary. Advance registration is required.

In 2010, the City of Issaquah preserved Park Pointe as part of a landmark agreement involving a transfer of development rights to protect open space and views.

A trail system is being developed for the area that will provide a loop trail within the property, as well as connections to the high school trail and other access trails on Tiger Mountain. When finished, the project will add almost 2 miles of trail to the Issaquah Alps.
