[ARCHIVED] - Inspiration Award: Mayor Ava Frisinger Honored -

For her record of service to Issaquah and the region, Mayor Ava Frisinger has received the Inspiration Award from Leadership Eastside.

The Leadership Eastside Network Award, or LENi, honors leadership that brings about significant improvement to elements that make up a healthy Eastside community. Frisinger received the award in the Inspiration category.

Nominators recognized Frisinger for more than 30 years of thoughtful leadership on a host of issues that have made our region a better place to work and call home.

Frisinger, who first took office in January 1998, is the City of Issaquah’s longest-serving mayor. Beyond her tenure in public life, Frisinger serves on numerous local and regional boards, commissions and organizations.

Frisinger and other LENi honorees received their awards during a Nov. 1, 2013, ceremony at the Redmond Marriott Town Center.

Leadership Eastside is a nonprofit leadership development program dedicated to informing, equipping, and connecting East King County’s leaders to meet our community’s greatest needs.
