[ARCHIVED] You’re Invited: Legal Marijuana and Our Teens Forum

Discover how the legalization of recreational marijuana could affect our youth during a community forum presented by the Issaquah Community Network’s Drug Free Community Coalition.

The coalition, in partnership with eight community organizations, invites you to a Legal Marijuana and Our Teens forum at the Issaquah High School Performing Arts Center, 700 Second Ave. S.E., on Jan. 27, 2014.

The program will begin at 6:30 p.m. with an open house and presentation of a video about marijuana and teenagers produced by Mercer Island Communities that Care. At 7 p.m., a panel of local youth will start the forum with comments about the video and marijuana legalization.

Presenters include Issaquah Police Chief Paul Ayers and the Drug Free Community Coalition’s Jerry Blackburn.
