[ARCHIVED] Calling All Artists: Issaquah ArtWalk Seeks 2014 Works

Before Issaquah ArtWalk returns, the Downtown Issaquah Association is inviting artists of all types and styles to submit their works.

Artists can submit work now to be considered for the 13th annual ArtWalk season, which will run from June to September. ArtWalk dates for 2014 are June 6, July 11, Aug. 1 and Sept. 5. The event runs from 6-9 p.m. at various downtown locations.

ArtWalk transforms historic downtown businesses into artists' galleries for the night. It’s a festive, lively event with a variety of artistic styles, interactive art demonstrations, and live music and dance in multiple locations throughout downtown.

It’s a chance to get great exposure, too. Issaquah is a vibrant, grassroots community with many artists, art supporters and art enthusiasts. In 2013, an estimated 10,000 visitors came to see and purchase art, listen to live music and support our historic downtown.

To learn more, please visit the Downtown Issaquah Association. The submission deadline is April 1, 2014.
