They’re the winners of the sixth-grade tournament in the Issaquah Parks & Recreation boys league.
The players — Drew Cox, Matthew Cromwell, Ryan Curtis, Haydn Hannley, Ryan Hikida, Varun Pradeep, Spencer Smith and Cory Yoshimura — under the leadership of coaches Martin Hikida and Ross Yoshimura amassed a 7-2 record before advancing to the title game.
There, thanks to outstanding performances from the whole team, the Huskies won the sixth-grade tournament.
