[ARCHIVED] Donations Needed: Oso Mudslide Relief Effort

We’re proud of the way our generous community has responded to the Oso mudslide recovery and relief effort.

In our community, the relief effort is spearheaded by the Issaquah Food and Clothing Bank, Eastside Fire & Rescue and the Eastside Firefighters Benevolent Fund. These organizations are working to collect donations and financial donations to purchase additional supplies.

On March 27, 2014, community members donated more than 30,000 pounds of food and supplies at the Issaquah Food and Clothing Bank. Those donations immediately went to the relief effort in Darrington.

The following supplies are still direly-needed for the ongoing relief effort:

• Raingear
• Boots• Socks
• Axes• Chainsaws
• Hatchets• Shell gas cards

Donations can be dropped off at Eastside Fire & Rescue Station 71, 190 E. Sunset Way, Issaquah, as soon as possible. Email questions to Chas Walters.
