If you think waste is someone else’s problem, think again.

“Trashed” is a groundbreaking documentary examines the crisis of trash, highlighting how garbage threatens our health and our environment.

Join us to see “Trashed” for free on Earth Day — April 22, 2014. Two screenings of the film will be followed by a panel discussion of local experts.

“Trashed” will be presented from 1-2:30 p.m. and again from 7-8:30 p.m. at Blakely Hall, 2550 N.E. Park Drive. Some images may not be suitable for young children.

Academy Award winner Jeremy Irons sets out on a worldwide investigation into our global garbage problem. Using Irons as a guide, filmmaker Candida Brady’s “Trashed” follows him on a journey around the planet to illustrate the scale of the challenge we face.
