[ARCHIVED] All Aboard! Issaquah Valley Trolley Start Soon

All aboard as the Issaquah Valley Trolley returns for 2014.

The vintage trolley will resume service in historic downtown Issaquah May 17, 2014.

Once the trolley enters regular operation, the car will depart from the depot from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays.

Issaquah Valley Trolley — an all-volunteer operation — is also seeking additional volunteers for the season. Learn more about during a volunteer recruitment open house at 3 p.m. May 18 at the Issaquah Train Depot, 78 First Ave. N.E.

Organizers are seeking additional motormen, conductors and station agents. Help is also needed for maintaining equipment.

A project of the Issaquah History Museums, Issaquah Valley Trolley’s mission is to help interpret the history of our community and to attract visitors to the depot and Gilman Town Hall museums, and to Olde Town.
