Bookworms: We’re asking you to give a shhh about our community’s library.
In partnership with the King County Library System (KCLS), we’re seeking applicants for the Issaquah Library Board.
The board acts as a bridge between the library and the local community, and communicates with the City, KCLS and library staff members about needs in the community that the local library can help address.
Interested? We’re hosting an information session to learn more about the roles and responsibilities of a Library Board member. Join us from 6:30-7:30 p.m. June 25, 2014, at the Issaquah Library, 10 W. Sunset Way.
If you’re interested in a unique opportunity to serve as a library advocate in your community, apply now at issaquahwa.gov/library.
