[ARCHIVED] Listen Up: Celebrate International Music Day With Us

Issaquah is making music June 21, 2014, to celebrate International Music Day.

International Music Day — or Issaquah Make Music Day — is a time for our community celebrate the importance of music in our lives through free, open and accessible events.

Join the celebration in historic Olde Town Issaquah from 4-9 p.m. You’re invited to listen, dance and make music!

Join the all-instrument flash mob performance of “Louie Louie” on the steps of Issaquah City Hall and Police Department, 130 E. Sunset Way, from 6-6:30 p.m.

Watch musicians perform as Olde Town merchants bring live music into businesses, restaurants and other public spaces for the evening. For a complete lineup and venue map, visit the Downtown Issaquah Association.

Globally, International Music Day is celebrated in more than 450 cities and 100 countries.
