[ARCHIVED] - Northwest Dogwood Street: Construction to Start Soon -

The City of Issaquah will start a construction project soon to enhance Northwest Dogwood Street from Newport Way Northwest east to the bridge.

This project will provide pedestrian mobility and safety improvement by adding sidewalks, curbs and gutters, landscaping, streetlights, and installing storm drainage.

The aging 8-inch water main will be replaced with a 12-inch water main from Newport Way Northwest to Third Place Northwest. The increased size will improve the system's fire flow capacity. In addition, fire hydrants and water meters will be updated with the project.

Construction will start by late July and will be substantially completed by Salmon Days. During construction, lane closures and parking restrictions will be in effect. Work is planned to occur from 7 a.m.-6 p.m.
