How far in advance do I need to submit a rental application?
Applications are processed on a first come, first served basis. Once you have a date selected, the sooner you submit an application, the more likely you will be to secure that date.

What is the rain and cancelation policy?
User groups must notify the Issaquah Parks and Recreation Department fourteen (14) days prior to the schedule rental date if they desire to cancel and receive a refund, less a $10 administration fee. Cancellations made 0 - 13 days prior to the event will result in no refund of the rental fees. Cancelation due to rain, does not warrant refund.

Can I bring a BBQ grill to the park for my picnic?
BBQ grills must be self-contained. It is strongly recommended to bring gas grills rather than charcoal. A BBQ cannot be placed directly on the grass. You are responsible for the safe removal of charcoal and grease. Charcoal and grease CANNOT be dumped into garbage cans or bushes/natural areas at the park.

Is there power and water available at the picnic shelter?
No, not at this time.

Can we bring extra tables and chairs to the shelter?
Yes, you can.

Are we allowed to serve alcohol at the picnic shelter?
Alcoholic beverages and other controlled substances are not allowed in City of Issaquah parks.

Can I hire a caterer for my event?
If an event requires a caterer, we request that you contact the Parks and Recreation Department at 425-837-3300.
