  1. Seniors: Property Tax Reduction Seminar

    January 23, 2020, 10:30 AM @ Issaquah Senior Center

The Senior Center is hosting King County Assessor John Wilson on Jan. 23 at 10:30 am. He will be sharing the income increase which makes many seniors eligible for property tax reduction. Washington State provides a property tax reduction to older adults and disabled veterans who are on fixed incomes. In 2019 the legislature has raised the income threshold for these programs, making tens of thousands of more people eligible for help. Residents 61 years old or older, who own their home, and have an annual income of $58,000 or less, may be eligible for a property tax reduction. The program starts this month! Join Assessor John Wilson for an update on how you can apply to get a property tax reduction.
