Habitat Restoration at Lake Sammamish State Park2021-03-07T00:00:00As the weather warms, Friends of Lake Sammamish State Park are able to offer several opportunities to volunteer at the park in March.
They are hosting habitat restoration events on Sunday, March 7 and Sunday, March 21. The work consists of weeding, removing invasive species and planting.
To comply with COVID-19 regulations, they have scheduled two shifts for each event and can accommodate 12 volunteers per each two-hour shift. Refreshments and tools provided.
All activities will be held in accordance with King County and Washington State COVID regulations.
