Equitable Economic Development: Exploring Opportunities in Our Region

As part of Welcoming Week, join Eastside For All, the cities of Bellevue, Issaquah, Kirkland, Redmond, Sammamish, King County Library System, Enterprise Welcoming Group and OneEastside for a virtual Welcoming Week event for community leaders, elected officials, business owners, nonprofit organizations and others interested in advancing racial equity and inclusion in our local economy. This event is intended to share information and spark action within participants' circles of interest and influence.

Keynote Speaker: Nwamaka Agbo

Ms. Agbo is the CEO of the Kataly Foundation and the Managing Director for the Restorative Economies Fund (REF). Ms. Agbo is deeply committed to supporting projects that build resilient, healthy and self-determined communities rooted in shared prosperity. Her practice is guided by her Restorative Economics framework

Guest Speaker: Prem Kumar

Mr. Kumar is the CEO & Co-Founder of Humanly. He'll be speaking about the context for current workforce shortage problems. What conversations and actions are required of us to address the current crisis and build stronger infrastructure for the future?

  • OneEastside SPARK: recovery and resiliency building efforts in collaboration with East King County’s 23 cities and towns; chambers of commerce; non-profits, and state and county government
