    The Planning Policy Commission will hold a hearing, continued from Jan. 24, to take public testimony on the proposed amendments to Issaquah Municipal Code Chapter 18.22 Wireless Communication Facilities to comply with a recent Federal Communication Commission (FCC) order regarding small cell facilities. The FCC order requires a shortened time for cities to process applications, limits application fees and limits aesthetic review and requirements.
    The proposed code amendments may change as a result of the public review process.

  1. Youth Mental Health First Aid Class

    Influence the Choice are offering this class for free to adults who live or work in Issaquah or Sammamish. The purpose is to help adults who encounter youth frequently to deal with mental health crises until professional help arrives. The class covers such issues as suicide prevention, substance abuse, depression, stress and anxiety, and so forth. All materials will be provided through the Influence the Choice Drug Free federal grant and the King County MIDD levy.
