  3. Public Hearing - Municipal Code 18.10.940 Shoreline Master Program

    The Planning Policy Commission will hold a hearing at its regular meeting on May 23 to take public testimony on the proposed Issaquah Municipal Code amendments to IMC 18.10.940 Shoreline Master Program (SMP). The Shoreline Management Act (SMA) requires each SMP be reviewed and revised, if needed on an eight-year schedule established by the Legislature. Proposed amendments include:
    1) incorporating recent SMA amendments into the SMP;
    2) updating the SMP to be consistent with recently annexed Lake Sammamish State Park, the Central Issaquah Plan and Parks Strategic Plan; and,
    3) updating definitions and code references.
    These proposed amendments may change as a result of the public review process.
